Being introduced to the Didsbury Drawing Group came at a perfect time for me. When both my children left home, I found myself with much more time for myself. I decided to return to life drawing, something I studied at the Royal Academy of Arts back in the 70s.
Drawing from the human figure is so challenging and totally absorbing. If you achieved even a small measure of success this would be very rewarding. In a beautiful setting amongst likeminded people, it triggered me to go on and pursue other creative disciplines such as ceramics. I will always be grateful for my time with the Didsbury Drawing Group and I’m delighted to be able to celebrate it with others.
